TieTek recieves sales order.North American Technologies Group Inc., based in Indiana, has announced that its subsidiary TieTek LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol. LLC - Logical Link Control has recently secured an order for 60,000 composite crossties from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Santa Fe Railroad, former U.S. railroad, chartered in 1863 as the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe RR; opened to traffic in 1864. Construction continued, and in 1880 it reached Santa Fe, N.Mex.; the following year the railroad connected with the Southern Pacific RR. (BNSF BNSF Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (railroad) ). "We expect the BNSF order will utilize existing capacity through the second quarter of 2006, including production from our Houston facility that is back online after repairs of fire damage suffered earlier this year," says Dan Brink, TieTek director of marketing. "Our Union Pacific Railroad Union Pacific Railroad, transportation company chartered (1862) by Congress to build part of the nation's first transcontinental railroad line. Under terms of the Pacific Railroads Act, the Union Pacific was authorized to build a line westward from Omaha, Nebr. supply agreement, combined with this order, positions TieTek to consider an expansion of capacity in 2006." TieTek makes composite railroad crossties from recycled plastics and scrap tires. |
