Tides Foundation Names Randall Miller as Associate Director of Philanthropic Services.


SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- Tides Foundation Tides Foundation (est. 1976) is a public charity which offers donor advised funds, philanthropic advice and other grantmaking and foundation management services. Miller has worked in the nonprofit sector for twenty years TWENTY YEARS. The lapse of twenty years raises a presumption of certain facts, and after such a time, the party against whom the presumption has been raised, will be required to prove a negative to establish his rights.

Most recently, he served for three years as the director of grant programs at the Vanguard Public Foundation, a small, progressive funder located in San Francisco with $4 million to $5 million in annual grants.
