London 2012 organisers said tickets to the 11 matches in Cardiff will be on sale from 11am this morning until 11pm on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. , May 6. The draw for the tournament took place last week, with Stuart Pearce's Team GB drawn to take on Uruguay on August 1. The South American side have not yet named their squad, but top names like Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan could be in contention to appear in Cardiff.

The Millennium Stadium will also host Brazil v Egypt on July 26. The men's teams are made up of under-23 players with three over-age players permitted per squad.

Great Britain's women's team will kick off the Olympics against New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. The capital is Wellington; the largest city and leading port is Auckland.  in the opening event of the Games in Cardiff on July 25 - two days before the opening ceremony.

Tickets to all of the matches start at pounds 20 for adults, with special prices available for people under 16 and over 60 at many matches.

Pay your age prices are available for those under 16 and tickets for people aged 60 or over will be priced at pounds 16.
