TicketWeb Acquires Colorado Ticketing Company TicketChoice; Signs Exclusive Ticketing Deal With Nobody In Particular Presents.


OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1999--TicketWeb, the first company in the world to sell tickets on the Internet, has acquired TicketChoice, the Colorado ticketing company founded by concert promoter, Nobody In Particular Presents.

In addition, TicketWeb has signed a long-term exclusive deal to handle ticketing for all Nobody In Particular Presents events and venues including the Ogden Theater and the Bluebird bluebird, common name for a North American migratory bird of the family Turdidae (thrush family). The eastern bluebird, Sialia sialis, is among the first spring arrivals in the North. It is about 7 in. (17.8 cm) long.  Theater.

TicketWeb began handling all TicketChoice transactions on March 1 and will be releasing tickets for The Allman Brothers at Red Rocks Amphitheater in early April. Tickets are available online at http://www.ticketweb.com, by phone at 800/965-4827 or 303/825-4849 or through any TicketWeb outlet, including Twist and Shout, Across the Trax and Independent Records locations.
