ThyssenKrupp Budd sells aluminum metalcasting facility.


Automotive industry The automotive industry is the industry involved in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of motor vehicles. In 2006, more than 69 million motor vehicles, including cars and commercial vehicles were produced worldwide.  supplier ThyssenKrupp Budd Co., Troy, Mich., announced the sale of its aluminum casting operations as part of a restructuring plan announced earlier this year.

ThyssenKrupp Stahl Co., a subsidiary that produces aluminum castings at metalcasting facilities in Kingsville and Warrensburg, Mo., has been sold to an equity-holding concern, Speyside Equity LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.
