The James Creek Uranium Block is one of seven groups of mineral claims optioned by Thunder Sword Resources. This group is located 30 km Southeast of the recently closed Cluff Lake Uranium Mine in the Western Athabasca Basin The Athabasca Basin is a region of Northern Saskatchewan and Alberta Canada that is best known as the world's leading source of uranium. It currently supplies about 30% of the world's uranium.

The basin is located just to the south of Lake Athabasca.
of Northern Saskatchewan. Two large claims totaling over 10,000 hectares secure an area showing favorable results from Airborne Geophysical Data. Jean Lemieux Jean Louis Lemieux (born May 31, 1952 in Noranda, Quebec) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

, Chief Geophysicist for FUGRO AIRBORNE SURVEYS says in his early review of the data:

"The magnetic signature over this block indicates a dominant NE-SW contact zone in the basement. The ON-time and early OFF-time EM signal (which focuses more on the near-surface response) shows a weak zone of alteration associated with the entire length of the NE-SW contact. The mid-to-late time B-Field signal (which focuses on the stronger and the potentially deeper conductive conductive

sources) indicates an area of strong conductivity at the very northern edge of the contact."

These types of responses from the airborne geophysical data will lead to further ground exploration to isolate possible drill targets. Thunder Sword will be receiving the final reports from Fugro on all of the Uranium Properties by the middle of August 2006. A fall and winter program will then be outlined based on the results of airborne geophysical data. Encouraging interpretation results from the American Lake and Kercher Lake data, as earlier reported, show a number of conductors targets to explore further.
