Three women groped by train pervert; PENSIONER ADMITS ASSAULTS.

A PENSIONER PENSIONER. One who is supported by an allowance at the will of another. It is more usually applied to him who receives an annuity or pension from the government.  sexually assaulted women as they travelled alone by bus and train, a court heard yesterday.

 McGinn told the court a 28-year-old woman was sitting on a bench waiting for her train at Clarke train station in Dundalk on November 2006, when the accused sat down beside her and repeatedly fondled her breasts, bum and thigh.

The man also targeted another 28-year-old woman in June last year assaulting her twice and a 27-year-old American tourist in July 2006.

A psychiatric report diagnosed a disorder and stated he felt over-familiar.

Solicitor for the accused said he was a native of Dundalk.

Judge Flann Brennan said the assaults were totally unacceptable but no great harm had come as a result.

He ordered a continuation of psychiatric care and adjourned the case until June for probation reports.
