Three new journals from Springer.

The "Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology" reports on research discoveries into the pathogenesis and pharmacology of brain disorders affecting the immune system immune system

Cells, cell products, organs, and structures of the body involved in the detection and destruction of foreign invaders, such as bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells. Immunity is based on the system's ability to launch a defense against such invaders.
that cross the boundaries of immunology, neuroscience and pharmacology.

Content includes coverage of research related to receptor cell signaling Cell signaling is part of a complex system of communication that governs basic cellular activities and coordinates cell actions. The ability of cells to perceive and correctly respond to their microenvironment is the basis of development, tissue repair, and immunity as well as , drugs of abuse, neurovirology, depression, psychosis, and human neurologic and neuropsychotic disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Diseases. Published quarterly, an annual subscription costs $500.

In January, Springer will launch "The European Physical Journal Special Topics," a quarterly devoted to the publication of topical issues in fields related to the pure and applied physical sciences, including complex systems, physical biology, chemistry and materials science materials science

Study of the properties of solid materials and how those properties are determined by the material's composition and structure, both macroscopic and microscopic.
.

Also to be launched in January, "Systems and Synthetic Biology Synthetic biology has long been used to describe an approach to biology that attempts to integrate different areas of research in order to create a more holistic understanding of life. " will focus on the collective behavior of biological interactions, connecting molecular topography with physiological responses. The field of synthetic biology, and articles in the journal, cover such fields as molecular biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction. The term molecular biology was coined in 1938 by Warren Weaver, then director of the natural sciences program at the Rockefeller , engineering, mathematics and physics and their use to implement new cellular behaviors. Published research will either advance the field as an engineering discipline or use information on synthetic biology to improve the knowledge of existing phenomena.
