Three new journals from American Scientific Publishers.

American Scientific Publishers (ASP; Stevenson Ranch Stevenson Ranch, California (in the 91381 ZIP Code) is a Los Angeles County, USA, unincorporated community west of Santa Clarita a few miles south of Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. The Stevenson Ranch fountain was redone in 2007. , CA) has begun the publication of two new Journals with March issues, including the Journal of Holography & Speckle Speckle

The generation of a random intensity distribution, called a speckle pattern, when light from a highly coherent source, such as a laser, is scattered by a rough surface or inhomogeneous medium.

JHS Jefferson High School
JHS Jacksonville High School (Jacksonville, Alabama)
JHS Journal of Hellenic Studies
JHS Jordan High School (Sandy, Utah)
) and the JO1 of Computational and Theoretical Nanoscience (JCTN JCTN Junction
JCTN joint composite track network (US DoD)
), and will launch a third journal, the Journal of Low Power Electronics (JLPE), later this year.

JHS will be published quarterly and is targeted to scientists working in the fields of holography, speckle, lasers, optics, engineering, physics, chemistry and biomedical bi·o·med·i·cal

optics. Content covers "all aspects of holography and speckle," ASP said, including biomedical applications, optical memories, x-ray and electron holography, optical scanning, heat and mass transfer, refraction refraction, in physics, deflection of a wave on passing obliquely from one transparent medium into a second medium in which its speed is different, as the passage of a light ray from air into glass. , astronomy and automatic analysis, among Others. An annual subscription costs $475 for institutions and $179 for individuals.

JCTN will also be published quarterly and is targeted to scientists, engineers and biologists working in computational aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology in such fields as chemistry, physics, materials science, electronic and mechanical engineering, optical science, computer science, IT, and biotechnology. Content covers a range of topics, including RNA RNA: see nucleic acid.

, multi-scale methods, nanomachines, carbon systems, and theoretical bioscience. An annual subscription costs $498 for institutions and $179 for individuals.

JLPE will be produced quarterly beginning this summer. ASP said it is being published to serve as a forum for research articles and discussions in the field of low power electronics. Targeted to scientists and engineers, it will cover such topics as medical devices, power reduction, transportation, microprocessors, wireless communications, military and aerospace applications and electronic systems. An annual subscription costs $475 for institutions and $179 for individuals.

ASP also publishes Journal of Nanosciences & Nanotechnology, Sensor Letters and Genome Letters, as well as related books and guides.
