Three new deals at 61 B'way.

Broad Street Development, owners of 61 Broadway, has signed three leases, totaling more than 20,000 s/f at the downtown property located in the heart of the business district.

The leases included two new deals and one renewal of a company headquartered at the location for over 20 years. Samuel A. Ramirez & Co, a full services securities firm has renewed its 15,000 s/f lease, while CSG Financial and Jill Miller and Associates have signed new leases for 2,600 and 3,118 s/f, respectively.

Raymond Chalme, principal of Broad Street Development, made the announcement.

Daniel M. Blanco, executive vice president and director of leasing for Broad Street Development, represented 61 Broadway in the deals while Michael Burgio of Cushman & Wakefield worked on behalf of Samuel A. Ramirez & Co.; Vlad Porter of VB Porter negotiated the deal for CSG Financial; and Neil Rubin and Robert Silver of Newmark Knight Frank for Jill Miller and Associates. David R. Lachtman, Esq. of Platte, Klarsfeld, Levine & Lachtman, LLP handled the legal matters on behalf of the ownership.

The 653,000 s/f, over 90% occupied property was built in 1916 and features a diversified tenant base ranging from law firms to financial institutions to not-for-profit organizations.

The tower at 61 Broadway serves as executive headquarters to a wide-range of prominent organizations, telecommunications giant Verizon, labor union, Professional Staff Congress and international law firm Healy & Baillie.
