Three Large Chemical Projects Launched in Xinjiang.

Three large chemical projects funded by Xinjiang Dushanzi Tianli High and New-tech Co., Ltd. with a total investment of around 260 million yuan have been launched. They include a 30 000 t/a methyl ethyl ketone project, a 30 000 t/a MTBE project and a 50 000 t/a secbutyl alcohol project.

The demand of these 3 products in the domestic market is fast increasing. The annual demand of methyl ethyl ketone has reached 100 000 tons, but the output is only 20 000 ton and most of the demand has to be satisfied by imports. With the prohibition of lead-containing gasoline, the demand of MTBE in China will increase by a big margin.

The construction period of the three projects is 2 years. After the completion of these projects, the sales revenue in the company can increase by 700 million yuan and the profit can increase by 100 million yuan. The investment profit rate of all the three projects can reach 23%.
