On September 29, 2006 over 150 firefighters and supporters of the AARBF attended the Hook & Ladder Ball held at San Francisco's prestigious Olympic club The Olympic Club is a country club with several golf courses partly located in San Francisco, California. The club's main "City Clubhouse" is located in downtown San Francisco. The courses are on a property that straddles the boundary between San Francisco and Daly City. . Three Alarm Cellars provided California red and white wines during the cocktail reception while guests enjoyed bidding on many silent auction items. These wines were also enjoyed by guests throughout dinner. Three Alarm Cellars, which was founded in 2004, donates part of the proceeds from the sale of their wines to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
