Thor invites the big top to new Coney Island resort.


Thor Equities has been in talks with the Big Apple Circus over the possibility of adding the big top to the list of attractions the developer has planned for his $1.5 billion Coney Island dreamscape dream·scape

Claims that Thor was close to buying the legendary local restaurant, Gargiulo's, were quashed this week when the owners flatly denied any sale.

"I wish Thor Equities luck in whatever they do, but whoever is claiming we are going to sell has a lot of audacity. We have never met with the developers, said Nino Russo, co-owner of Gargiulo's.

"We have owned Gargiulo's for over 40 years. We have absolutely no intention of selling the restaurant at this time," he added.
