In addition to plasma, the new THOMSON Wysius line of monitors now includes two LCD screens -- including an innovative LCD/DVD combination unit. For easy time shift recording, Thomson will offer the hard-disc Wysius UDR (Unlimited Digital Recorder See DVR and CD-R. ) with 40 hours of TV recording capability in a convenient set-top device. The Wysius UDR can store TV programming and up to 8,000 digital photographs, and includes an electronic programme guide and the ability to initiate program recording remotely through a telephone connection.

THOMSON Scenium: Expansion of Integrated Products

The THOMSON Scenium home theatre line expands to include a new widescreen 36-inch TV/DVD combination television, a combination 200-watt home cinema amplifier with integrated DVD player and five speakers, a new DVD player with "Scene Again" and mp3 playback functions, and two new big-screen projection televisions. Exclusive to the Scenium line of television receivers are the colour Clip-On frames that allow consumers to customize the home theatre screen to match their home decor with one of seven different colours.
