RSA will utilize its print on demand software, J.I.T. Print, to develop a custom solution to automate the printing of the 78 volume set of NYCRR. The software will provide a total solution, fully integrating the production process from order entry to digital printing. The documents will be stored and updated electronically, merged with dynamic subscriber lists, and printed on high speed Xerox laser printers. The results will be complete automation, increased efficiency, lower costs to the State of New York and improved subscriber service.

Robert Mock, manager marketing services for TPP, said "The NYCRR contract is a major technological step forward for the State. We are pleased to be able to provide such a complete solution with the RSA software and Xerox printers. We are able to reduce costs to the State and improve service by publishing twice a month rather than monthly so subscribers will be receiving more timely information." All historical NYCRR information will be converted to an electronic format and indexed for printing and retrieval.

The NYCRR supplements will be generated bi-weekly and sent to subscribers along with filing instructions. "This is an excellent example of the use of new print on demand technology to solve a critical business problem," said Timothy Kelly Timothy Kelly is the former General Manager for the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse and the current General Manager of the New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League. , senior vice president of RSA. "The management and timely distribution of these documents can be greatly enhanced with our software and the new high speed laser printers available today." The new solution automates the document production system which previously was labor intensive Labor Intensive
