. This effort has resulted in the most comprehensive municipal market information product available on the market. TM3 links news, data, and analysis from a number of sources and delivers the information directly to the user's desktop. A free trial period is being offered to qualified users via the Internet at http://www.tm3.com.

Addressing the needs of the market for consolidated data, TM3 provides a single point of access to integrated municipal information. Sources include Dalcomp, Muller Data, Municipal Market Data, Munifacts, The Bond Buyer, The Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace ("The Red Book"), CDA (1) (Compact Disc Audio) The compact disc file extension that is seen on the computer in Explorer or some other file manager. TM3 will evolve to include additional municipal information and analytic functionality.

Utilizing existing PC LAN environments, this comprehensive suite of municipal products is freed from specific hardware requirements and traditional delivery mechanisms (stand-alone terminals), and is now available for direct access on individual users' desktops. The new delivery platform makes TM3 more affordable for multiple users. TM3 is targeted to a variety of municipal market participants, including bond traders, underwriters, portfolio managers, analysts, public finance professionals, issuers and others.

"Now, users have all of the information they want in one location," said Joel Mandelbaum, president of Thomson Market Information Services. It is natural to combine these products in order to offer users a comprehensive and integrated tool to evaluate, trade and underwrite securities swiftly and thoughtfully."

TM3 allows clients to access integrated municipal information in order to make more informed decisions. For example, clients can search available offerings based on specific criteria and then link directly to Muller's MuniView database for full municipal descriptive information about a particular bond, and identify institutional holders of that bond based on CDA/Spectrum's Muni BondWatchO.
