Thomson Corp. acquires U.K. legal online service.The legal and regulatory group of The Thomson Corp. (Toronto, ON) has strengthened its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Lawtel (London), a legal online information service in the U.K., from The Lawyer Group, a division of business publisher Centaur centaur (sĕn`tôr), in Greek mythology, creature, half man and half horse. The centaurs were fathered by Ixion or by Centaurus, who was Ixion's son. Communications (London).
