Thomas leads Bayer MaterialScience.Patrick Thomas Patrick Thomas Jr., MBE (born July 13, 1958) better known by his stage names Tracie Huntington or Traci Huntington is an American double-bassist. Huntington was born in Cleveland, Ohio, his father was a country musician. was appointed chairman of the board of management of Bayer MaterialScience Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) is an independent subgroup within Bayer AG. It was created as part of the restructuring of Bayer AG from the former business group Bayer Polymers, with certain of its activities being spun off to Lanxess AG. , succeeding Hagen Noerenberg who stepped down from active employment with the Bayer Group at the end of 2006. Thomas began his career in 1979 with Imperial Chemical Industries where he held numerous positions in the U.K. and Belgium until 1997 when he was named global chief executive officer. He joined Huntsman in 1999 as president of the Polyurethanes polyurethanes (pŏl'ēy  r`əthānz), group of plastics that may be either thermosetting or thermoplastic.
