), today announced it has been awarded a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ IDIQ Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (contracting/procurement) ) Prime Contract by the Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. SeaPort-e is a Web-based, e-business procurement Portal used to facilitate the acquisition of performance-based services that encompass 22 functional service areas and seven geographic contract zones across the U. S. Navy. SeaPort-e provides a faster, better, and more cost-effective means of contracting for professional support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services . It furthers the Navy's Seapower 21 objective to increase efficiency, and allows for tailoring services according to the needs of geographically-dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions. The U.S. Navy estimates the award of $5.3 Billion per year in professional services through SeaPort-e procurement.

In competitively securing the SeaPort-e Prime contract, Thomas Group will implement its proprietary Process Value Management (PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) Software that enables multiple Unix and Windows NT/2000 computers to function as one large, parallel machine. It is used to solve scientific, industrial and medical problems around the world.
