Bergeson succeeds Al Hietala in the position and is CEO of the agency. * Case Corp., Racine, Wis., agrees to acquire Tyler Industries, Benson, Minn. Tyler had sales of $66 million in 1997. Ten Years Ago * John Montandon is named president of Farm Press Publications, Clarksdale Clarksdale, city (1990 pop. 19,717), seat of Coahoma co., NW Miss., on the Sunflower River; inc. 1882. It is a processing and distribution center for agriculture, its main resource. There is also light manufacturing. Clarksdale also is a major center for rhythm-and-blues music., Miss. * Farm Press Publications will begin publishing Growing Awareness magazine in August 1993. * Colle & McVoy Inc., Minneapolis, names Carol Anderson as account manager in ag PR. Anderson was most recently account supervisor for Miller Meester Advertising Inc., Minneapolis.
