* A. Charles Fischer is named to succeed John L. Hagaman as president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Dow AgroSciences LLC, Indianapolis.

* LiphaTech, Milwaukee, promotes Dave Fox to marketing manager for its ag division. He was most recently a product manager for the company.

Ten Years Ago

* American Cyanamid Co., Wayne, N.J., and Sandoz Agro Inc., Des Haines, Ill., reach an agreement under which both companies will develop herbicide premixes involving their own and the other's proprietary chemistries.

* Central Soya Co. Inc. sells its feed operations in North America, Latin America and the Far East to Premiere Agri Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

* Ralph Seeley joins WMAQ WMAQ We Must Ask Questions (Chicago NBC Affiliate) , Chicago, as farm services director. Before coming to the station Seeley was senior editor and broadcast operations director for LBAS LBAS Language Based Area Studies (UK)  Consulting Group. Mark Oppold, former sales manager/ assistant producer for LBAS, replaces Seeley.
