Rundgren's pop hits are the least of what make him an interesting artist. We saw WOW Hall publicist Bob Fennessy's collection of Rundgren solo albums, plus a cache of work with the band Utopia, and it was as tall as a 12 ounce latte.

Rundgren is a prolific artist and an innovator and if you can spring the dough for perhaps the most expensive WOW Hall show of all time then you are in for an unforgettable experience.

Tonight at the McDonald is a night for homegrown talent with the Rock 'n' Roll rock 'n' roll: see rock music.  Soldiers headlining and Justin King There are different prominent people named Justin King:

 and the Apologies opening. If it's anything like Saturday's packed performance there during the Eugene Celebration during the Reeble Jar/Everyone Orchestra show, then tonight's bound to be off the hook - only the bravest boomers dare enter.
