Thirteen Companies to Present at the Third Annual Investors Choice Southeast Venture Capital Forum in Birmingham, Ala.

Thirteen companies will present at the Wayne Brown Institute's third annual Investors Choice(R) Southeast Venture Capital Forum, to be held May 10-11, 2006, at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Ala.

In addition to the company presentations, the conference will feature investor activities, one-on-one company meetings and a luncheon sponsored by Paramount BioSciences, LLC (www.paramountbio.com) of New York City that will be highlighted by a keynote address by Steve Kelly, president and CEO of Innovive Pharmaceuticals Inc. In conjunction with its co-hosts (the Alabama Information Technology Association, the Biotechnology Association of Alabama, the Birmingham Venture Club and TechBirmingham), the Wayne Brown Institute is sponsoring the forum to provide opportunities for high-tech companies to participate in the venture capital fundraising process.
