London, October 21 (ANI): A cheeky black bear recently entered a grocery store in Wisconsin, US and picked up a beer.

The bystanders were amazed a·maze

v.tr.
1. To affect with great wonder; astonish. See Synonyms at surprise.

to see the cub enter the store and head straight for a crate of lagers.

The beast made a bear-line for the cans of Hamm's beer, which incidentally also has a bear in its advertisements.

"The standing joke standing joke standing nStandardwitz m  up here was that it was the Hamm's bear," the Sun quoted shop manager Jon LeBlanc as saying.

The bear wandered inside the store for almost an hour before vets came to give it a tranquilizer tranquilizer, drug whose action calms the central nervous system, decreasing emotional agitation without impairing alertness. Tranquilizing drugs differ from hypnotic drugs such as barbiturates in that they do not act on the brain's cortical areas but rather on its  shot.

They then took away the animal, which weighed about 125lbs and stood about 5ft tall. (ANI)
