Third Neptune at Arla. (Packaging Equipment).

More than a fifth of all UK supermarket milk is supplied by Arla Foods, so speed, efficiency and economy are three key buzz words on the company's bottling lines. To keep up-sides with growing demand, the company have installed a third 4-station 'Neptune' labeller from Harland Machine Systems.

The 'Neptunes' are being used to apply pressure-sensitive plastic-coated labels to one, two, four, and six pint polybottles. The latest machine has adjustable ink jet brackets so that the print can be precisely adjusted on each label. Every label wraps half way round the bottle, regardless of size.
