Poor old AA batteries. They just can't squeeze into sleek In the Dungeons and Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the Sleek is a Magical Beast. It resembles an Ermine. It seems to have no other desire aside from biting victims and running off.  new portable MP3 and MiniDisc A compact digital audio disc from Sony that comes in read-only and rewritable versions. Introduced in late 1993, the MiniDisc has been most popular in Japan. The read-only 2.5" disc stores 140MB compared to 650MB on a CD, but holds the same 74 minutes worth of music due to Sony's Adaptive  players. Time for a battery makeover.  battery--is basically a slimmer version of the classic 1.5 Volt AA. The LPI packs the same amount of power into a flat 6.l-millimeter-thick case.

As in all batteries, the LP1 has chemicals inside that react with each other. The chemicals pull electrons (negatively charged Adj. 1. negatively charged - having a negative charge; "electrons are negative"

charged - of a particle or body or system; having a net amount of positive or negative electric charge; "charged particles"; "a charged battery"
 particles that orbit an atom's nucleus, or center) away from the battery's positive end and push them toward the negative end. This flow of electrons is called an electric current. And when the current flows into an MP3 or MiniDisc player, it's music to your ears.
