Thermoplastic urethanes feature low hardness.

Thermoplastic A polymer material that turns to liquid when heated and becomes solid when cooled. There are more than 40 types of thermoplastics, including acrylic, polypropylene, polycarbonate and polyethylene.  urethanes, said to be noted for their high abrasion resistance and ease of processing, are immediately available from the company in a broad range of hardness grades from 69 durometer A to 75 durometer D. They are said to provide soft touch characteristics and are offered as well in special FR and overmolding grades.

Potential applications for these TPUs are said to include automotive, consumer and industrial goods industrial goods nplbienes mpl de producción , and wire and cable, among others. They are marketed under the trade names Pearlthane and Pearlcoat for injection molding injection molding
