Themis Computer introduces new 2RU Telco servers. (Breaking News).


Themis Computer has announced its new T-210 servers. Two rack units high and 10 inches deep, Thernis' T-210 servers incorporate the new Sun Microsystems Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAVA[3]) is an American vendor of computers, computer components, computer software, and information-technology services, founded on 24 February 1982.  UltraSPARC-IIe 500 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  processor and were designed primarily for service providers and enterprise environments where rack space is critical. Designed for fast integration, easy maintenance and reliable operation in extreme customer premises environments (operating temperature range: 0 - 50[degrees] C), Thernis' T-210 servers help enable the rapid deployment of high availability applications. Thernis' new T-210 servers are EMI/ESD/EMC-compliant and support the new UltraSPARC-IIe 500 MHz processors from Sun Microsystems, with 256KB of L2 cache, up to 2GB of memory and two removable 30 GB EIDE (Enhanced IDE) An extension to the IDE interface that supports the ATA-2 and ATAPI standards. ATA-2 (Fast ATA) provides faster transfer rates (see IDE for details) and allows for multiple channels, each connecting two devices.  disks (66 MB/s).
