Thefts net LL130 million across country.
BEIRUT: A series of thefts targeting shops and companies across Lebanon have netted LL130 million, the state-run National News Agency reported Friday. Thieves broke into a blacksmith shop in the Bekaa Valley, stealing iron bars and pipes valued at $14,000, NNA said. In the east Beirut, thieves stole LL10 million and $6,000, it said. In Shoueifat, thieves stole equipment, welding machines and compressors.
