"Tuesday's action in the stock market marked a shift in investor sentiment, away from one that favors bleak economic news that could foster more interest rate reductions, to one that appreciates affirmative economic data that could signal economic recovery. This kind of shift should be considered healthy for the financial markets, as it transfers investors' focus away from the Federal Reserve, and realigns it more closely with stock market fundamentals."
