The Company further expects that its costs and operating and expenses for the fourth quarter of 2000 will increase by $1.0 to $2.0 million. These revisions will cause the Company's net loss for the fourth quarter of 2000 excluding special charges, to increase to $19.0 million to $21.5 million. The Company will provide supplemental information in the event that further accounting adjustments are deemed necessary. Shares of CPTH fell 69 percent to $3.063 on the announcement. Based on the new information, it is recommended that investors stay away from Critical Path stock until the Company's financial results are squared away.
