President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate Paul A. Denett, of Virginia, to be administrator for federal procurement policy at the Office of Management and Budget The Office of Management and Budget (OMB), formerly the Bureau of the Budget, is an agency of the federal government that evaluates, formulates, and coordinates management procedures and program objectives within and among departments and agencies of the Executive Branch. . Denett is currently vice president of Contracting Programs at ESI (Edge Side Includes) A markup language for Web pages that enables elements of a Web page to be dynamically assembled in servers distributed throughout the Internet.  International. Prior to this, he was senior vice president for program development and government affairs at Star Mountain Incorporated. Earlier in his career, he served as director of administration, director of the Office of Acquisition and Property Management, and senior procurement executive at the Department of Interior. Denett has also served as the director of the Office of Procurement and senior procurement executive at the Department of the Treasury. He received his bachelor's degree from Nasson College Nasson College was a private four-year accredited liberal arts college in Springvale, Maine.

It was founded in 1912 as Nasson Institute and changed its name twenty-three years later, in 1935 .
 and his master's degree from The George Washington University George Washington University, at Washington, D.C.; coeducational; chartered 1821 as Columbian College (one of the first nonsectarian colleges), opened 1822, became a university in 1873, renamed 1904. .
