The voice of Golly Goose promotes talking books.

Cedric the Entertainer, who gave voice to Golly the Goose in the film version of E. B. White's Charlotte's Web, has been chosen to launch the American Library Association's Listen[TM] poster series.

The campaign underscores the importance and availability of audio materials in libraries. According to the most recent Audio Publishers Association consumer survey, more than half the people who listen to audiobooks borrow them from libraries.
