The titles are a-changing.

Sentinel Real Estate Corporation, which manages more than $5 billion in real estate assets for pension funds and other tax exempt institutions, announced the expansion of its senior management structure and the naming of seven new managing directors.

John Streicker, formerly Sentinel's president, has been named chairman. David Weiner, formerly a managing director, has been named vice chairman, and Millie Cassidy, also a managing director, has been named president. Mr. Streicker, Mr. Weiner and Ms. Cassidy comprise a new executive committee that will be charged with overseeing the strategic growth and direction of the firm.

"This reorganization is necessary due to Sentinel's continued growth in assets under management, the creation of new funds and investment vehicles for our clients, and the expansion of our activities into new areas including International," Mr. Streicker said.

"We have a very strong group of younger executives and it is my hope that these changes will facilitate their being able to make significant contributions to our further growth," he added. "Sentinel must evolve and reflect the fact that through hard work and loyalty, there is a new generation that deserves a place at the table."

The following employees were named managing directors of Sentinel: Anita Breslin, Martin Cawley, Jacques Lewis, James Pope, Leland Roth, Gary Sheehan and George Tietjen.

In addition, a number of other people were promoted to senior vice president, first vice president and other levels of management throughout the Sentinel organization.
