There are some simple measures that can be undertaken by us--men and women--so as to realize an environment that is fit for women. For example, all cases of violence MUST be reported and action MUST be taken against the perpetrators, their relationship with the victim not withstanding. If we can collectively champion this noble call of rallying against GBV and HIV/AIDS, then we shall have redeemed and shall have managed to bring back sanity to our nation. Il y une question a laquelle il faut repondre. Ou'est-ce qu'un jeune homme de vingt-huit ans et plus voit dans un bebe de six mois? Ou bien dans une grandmere de quatre-vingts ans? Qu'est-ce qui ne marche pas avec l'humanite? Par le fait de travailler dans le secteur du genre, j'ai pu voir ce que les hommes peuvent faire pour perpetrer la violence basee sur le genre, et j'ai a plusieurs reprise regrette d'etre ne homme! Cependant, je crois que les hommes peuvent prendre un role proactif pour mettre fin a la VBG et le VIH / SIDA. Apres tout ils sont les perp'etreurs du crime, ils peuvent parler a leurs camarades hommes et les impliquer dans les campagnes visant a arreter la VBG. Il est maintenant temps d'agir! Nous devons faire des efforts concertes pour nous attaquer a la violence contre les femmes.
