The star is watching. (Digest).

The Star (Strategic/Tactical Airborne Recorder) family of solid state recorders from L3 Communications is an open architecture-based replacement for magnetic tape recorders in high capacity, high data rate reconnaissance, instrumentation and flight test applications. Using industry-standard data and control interfaces, the Star RM-6000F can be used on any type of platform and features a non-volatile removable memory that is expandable from 8 to 128 GB. The unit's modular I/O (Input/Output) The transfer of data between the CPU and a peripheral device. Every transfer is an output from one device and an input to another. See PC input/output.
