previously served on the Los Angeles City Commission on the Status of
Women Noun 1. Commission on the Status of Women - the commission of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations that is concerned with the status of women in different societies , has been appointed as public information director. Jenny Chavez,
former legislative director for councilwoman Janice Hahn, will take the
role of legislative representative. Cecilia Moreno, a Wilmington
community representative, joins as community affairs advocate.
