The power of mould.


BOB MOULD is living by the old Washington adage "All politics is local." He moved to D.C. two years ago, and the/former Husker Du Husker Du means "Do you remember" in Danish and Norwegian. The phrase may refer to:
  • Hüsker Dü, an American rock music group from Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota
  • Hūsker Dū? (game), a Danish board game
  • Husker Du
 and Sugar front man credits the city with his "ever-increasing comfort at being a fully out man, both in my personal and professional lives" and with motivating his activism, particularly in regard to gay marriage. Mould is co-organizing WEDrock DC, the second benefit concert for Freedom to Marry, along with WEDrock creator John Cameron Mitchell John Cameron Mitchell (born April 21, 1963 in El Paso, Texas) is an American writer, actor, and director. He is best known for his motion pictures Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Shortbus. Early life and career
Mitchell was born in El Paso, Texas.
