Lexi won Individual All-Around at the 2006 World Sport Stacking Sport stacking (formerly known as cup stacking) is an individual and team activity played using plastic cups. It originated in the early 1980's at a southern California boys and girls' club and received national attention in 1990 on Championships for her combined time of 13.48 seconds in all three events--that's the time it took her to build and disassemble dis·as·sem·ble v. dis·as·sem·bled, dis·as·sem·bling, dis·as·sem·bles

v.intr. 1. 12 cups into 14 different pyramids. "I wasn't expecting to get All-Around," Lexi says. "I was kind of surprised." Lexi was introduced to cup stacking in fifth-grade P.E. "I was fascinated by it," she says. Lexi's not the only one who's gone cup crazy. More than 1,000 stackers from five countries and 21 states posted at the 2006 Championships in Denver. "It's one of the only sports girls can be equal to boys," says Lexi. Just don't try this at home with Mom's china!
