Food industry construction specialists Clegg Food Projects have handed over a complex scheme to improve production facilities at a ready meals factory in Leicester Leicester (lĕs`tər), city (1991 pop. 324,394) and district, Leicestershire, central England. The city is connected by canals with the Trent River and London, and it is also a railway center. .

The company called on the expertise of Clegg Food Projects to modify the existing sauce kitchen facility on the site while manufacture of its other products continued.

The project, which has also involved altering the internal layout of the factory and the installation of a new plant, has presented a number of engineering and construction challenges according to according to

This work continues a relationship with Brookes that stretches back over several successful projects and is the latest in a series of specialist contracts the company has undertaken for a range of clients over recent months.

Clegg has completed a number of site improvements at a plant in Enfield for the country's largest supplier of flour flour, finely ground, usually sifted, meal of grain, such as wheat, rye, corn, rice, or buckwheat.
