Valerie Kelly PT, PhD, is now in a 1-year, NIH-funded postdoctoral position at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine rehabilitation medicine Physiatry, physiotherapy A field of therapeutics that bridges the gap between conventional and nonconventional medicine; rehabilitation physicians may adminsiter or prescribe mechanical–eg, massage, manipulation, exercise, movement, , University of Washington, under the mentorship of Anne Shumway-Cooke, PT, PhD, a 1980 Foundation recipient.

Michael Lewek, PT, PhD, accepted a postdoctoral position with the Sensory Motor Performance Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago is a rehabilitation hospital located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is a part of the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. . His mentors are Zev Rymer, MD, PhD, and Li-Qun Zhang, PhD.

Susanne Morton, PT; PhD, was awarded a year-long postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University Johns Hopkins University, mainly at Baltimore, Md. Johns Hopkins in 1867 had a group of his associates incorporated as the trustees of a university and a hospital, endowing each with $3.5 million. Glenn N Williams, PT, PhD, SCS, is now an Assistant Professor in the University of Iowa's graduate program in physical therapy and rehabilitation science.
