The following 2002 PODS II recipients have completed their dissertations and were awarded their doctoral degrees in 2003:

Valerie Kelly PT, PhD, is now in a 1-year, NIH-funded postdoctoral position at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Washington, under the mentorship of Anne Shumway-Cooke, PT, PhD, a 1980 Foundation recipient.

Michael Lewek, PT, PhD, accepted a postdoctoral position with the Sensory Motor Performance Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. His mentors are Zev Rymer, MD, PhD, and Li-Qun Zhang, PhD.

Susanne Morton, PT; PhD, was awarded a year-long postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University, under the mentorship of Amy Bastian, PT, PhD, a 1994 and 1995 Foundation recipient. Bastian is a member of the Foundation's Scientific Review Committee.

Samuel Ward, PT, PhD, CSCS, now holds a postdoctoral position in the Departments of Bioengineering and Orthopaedics, University of California, San Diego, under the mentorship of Richard Liebre; PhD.

Glenn N Williams, PT, PhD, SCS, is now an Assistant Professor in the University of Iowa's graduate program in physical therapy and rehabilitation science.
