The entrepreneurs we honor overcame obstacles and turned adversity ad·ver·si·ty n. pl. ad·ver·si·ties 1. A state of hardship or affliction; misfortune. 2. A calamitous event. into opportunity. But they didn't do it alone. They had the support of partners, co-workers, employees, advisors, investors, friends, and family to help them along the way. And when it comes to producing this program, Ernst & Young did not do it alone. We had the tremendous support of judges and sponsors who helped make the event possible. Our prestigious judging panel was charged with reviewing many high-quality nominees and had the difficult task of choosing the award recipients. In addition, our sponsors provided the assistance and encouragement to allow us to recognize the entrepreneurs we'll be celebrating.
