As an editor I hope I've been able to encourage and applaud this in my staff. As a publisher I hope that I've been able to use the CLTC CLTC Certified in Long-Term Care CLTC Community Long Term Care CLTC Chapter Leadership Training Conference forum to highlight those of you who exhibit these same qualities. That is why it is with much satisfaction that this issue is dedicated to those with vision and follow-through. Please see our "People Who Make a Difference," starting on page 10. Acquiring nominees and making a final decision about those who make a difference is as much subjective as it is objective. In the end, at least as it relates to this magazine, I have to make that decision. In the broader sense, we all get to make that decision about the people with whom we come into contact and if we see the value of the difference they make in our lives. You may not necessarily agree with the nominees of this year's "People Who Make a Difference" feature, though we hope you will. If you can see their impact, and if you can appreciate the value of so many of those in your life whose names will never be published in Contemporary Long Term Care, then the article has served its greater purpose.
