The editor's notebook.

Spring is here and it is time for baseball. I am a Cleveland Indians fan, therefore an eternal optimist. With no World Series championship win since 1948 (the other win occurring in 1920) and only three subsequent appearances in the World Series (1954, 1995, and 1997), every spring holds promise. Spring is the time to "step up to the plate".

It's also a time for ATEA members to step up to the plate and submit a manuscript for publication consideration. Your contribution is an important part of our professional and collegial relationship. With many avenues available (Refereed/Research, Reviewed/Descriptive, Tips and Training Techniques, At-Issue, Instructor Resources, and Kristal Kleer), there is a place for everyone to publish in the ATEA Journal.

Share your research. Tell us about creative and innovative curricular and instructional strategies. Discuss an important challenge or issue affecting postsecondary technical education. Give us your professional opinion (you know that you want to...)

Step up to the plate and let us hear your voice. You have a story to tell.
