Q What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Commercial pilot. My brother's a (commercial) pilot and he just started his own CD training course to get your ground school. He just sent the package on Friday, I'm pretty impressed. "I'd like to get my pilot's licence. I live here on a lake and I watch guys with their own planes parked at the door and I envy them. One of these days. It's my dream. Q In your view, what the biggest challenge facing the Northern Ontario mining and exploration industry? The recruiting of young energetic experienced mining personnel. "In the 1990s mining was in the slump. A lot of young people didn't take up mining and now all of sudden there's a 10-year span where people didn't get into mining, and guys are starting to retire. There's a gap. They've got to start promoting mining more (like) what the CIM is doing, to (attract) young guys and women.
