Q What's the best advice you've you've

Contraction of you have.

you've have
 ever received, and from whom?

"Take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves," by Anonymous. Taken somewhat philosophically ... small irritants, if not taken care of, could develop into bigger issues that will take a lot more energy to resolve.

Q What's the most expensive thing you've ever lost?

While working in the Northwest Territories Northwest Territories, territory (2001 pop. 37,360), 532,643 sq mi (1,379,028 sq km), NW Canada. The Northwest Territories lie W of Nunavut, N of lat. 60°N, and E of Yukon. , I was out on a family outing and left my new Pentax Pentax Corporation (ペンタックス株式会社   Camera on the roof of the car, while putting other things away ... forgot the camera on the roof and drove back to Yellowknife. I retraced my route but never did find the camera.

Q What convenience could you not do without?

A shower--it wakes you up in the morning and refreshes you in the afternoon, particularly on hot days. It brings new life to a tired body as you prepare for social outings.

Q Finish this sentence: "I wish I would have invented ..."

"Post it" notes. A simple concept with worldwide implications and massive financial returns.

Q Where's your ideal place to retire?

Being somewhat adventuresome, the ideal is a home base and access to other environments. I enjoy all seasons and water, so the ideal home base could easily be Sault Ste. Marie with a condo by the water, a reasonably-sized boat to enjoy nearby scenic waterways The list of waterways is a link page for any river, canal, estuary or firth.

and a good pair of skis for the winter slopes. Oh yes, I have to include a mid-winter break to sun, sand and palm trees.

Q What person has inspired you the most?

My father. Although he passed away at a fairly young age, I recall his quiet, relaxed approach to life, never a harsh word to anyone. Well respected by his peers. I always remember with a little bit of awe, sitting in the middle of a small lake with a couple of dozen fishing boats filled with fishermen, in close proximity (with) nobody catching any fish, except him.
