The childhood of visual memory (Interview).

In this interview with the renowned Egyptian caricaturist, designer, and book-maker, the artist presents his perspective on his work in general, and insights into children's books--their designs and illustrations--in particular. Recalling his childhood, he sums up his experience saying: "What impacts us, and points us to our cultural orientation, is not the artistic masterpieces only, but the totality of visual works seen daily moving about."
