The changing world of the executive.

The Changing World of the Executive

Peter F. Drucker's "The Changing World of the Executive' (New York, Truman Talley, 1980) is a collection of previously published and updated articles, many of which appeared originally in The Wall Street Journal. It's one of the latest from the prolific dean of management authors, whose writings have had a profound impact on organizational thinking and practice both here and in Japan.

No manager's bookshelf, in fact, should be without a Drucker book or two. His classics, "Management: Tasks, Practices, Responsibilities' (New York, Harper & Row, 1974) and "The Effective Executive' (Harper & Row, 1967), are musts for anyone who must supervise others.
