 announced today that T-Mobile, one of the largest mobile communications providers in the nation, has nearly tripled its office space at 665 Broadway, with a 13,600-square-foot lease.

T-Mobile, which is based in Bellevue, Wash., previously occupied 4,662 square feet on the third floor in the building. The new lease, for a duration of seven years, is for the entire third floor, totaling 8,262 square feet, and part of the fourth floor, totaling 5,000 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield brokerage professionals David Dusek and Robert Gallucci Robert L. Gallucci (born February 11, 1946) is Dean of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in the United States. Before his appointment in 1996 he was employed for 21 years by various governmental and international agencies, including the  represented T-Mobile in the transaction. John Peters, also with Cushman & Wakefield, represented the landlord.

 Mr. Dusek, T-Mobile's growth is a positive sign in a market where the unemployment rate has remained relatively flat. "It's good to see some companies and sectors expanding. Hopefully it holds some significance in the near-term for the larger economy."

Built in 1912, 665 Broadway is a 12-story office tower located between Bleecker and Bond Streets in Greenwich Village Greenwich Village (grĕn`ĭch), residential district of lower Manhattan, New York City, extending S from 14th St. to Houston St. and W from Washington Square to the Hudson River. . In addition to T-Mobile, other notable tenants in the building include Home Box Office.
