) Africa Club and top executives from several multinational high-technology companies today announced the formation of the Africa Technology Forum, a global non-profit organization A non-profit organization (abbreviated "NPO", also "non-profit" or "not-for-profit") is a legally constituted organization whose primary objective is to support or to actively engage in activities of public or private interest without any commercial or monetary profit purposes.  dedicated to nurturing business relationships within the African high-technology community.

In order to be considered for membership, individuals must hold key executive posts at multinational high-technology companies and have an interest in promoting African technology concerns. Corporate memberships are available to multinational tech companies with the same type of African interests.
